Counting visits
Visits are counted through an analytics provider (EU). What is counted: the page, the site you came from, country, browser and device type, and how far you scrolled. No cookies are set. A random visit number is kept in your browser's session storage and disappears when you close the tab.
Your choice
Readers in Europe are asked first, and nothing is counted without a yes. "Statistics choice" in the footer lets you change that answer.
Hosting
Our host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, for security and running the site.
